Bobby Mirizio

Bobby worked at Frank Hawley’s NHRA Drag Racing School in Pomona, Ca. from 2003 to 2008.
He has been racing for eighteen years. Four years in go carts, and fourteen in drag racing.
Bobby holds a license in thirteen different NHRA categories. Starting in the Jr. Dragster ranks. In eight seasons of competition, Bobby recorded nine top five points finishes, won a points championship, won the Fourth Annual Del Cox Classic, won the best reaction time award in the fifteen year old class at Bandimere Speedway in Denver, Colorado at the Castrol GTX Jr. Dragster Western Conference Finals in 2000 with a perfect reaction time, and finished a career best third in the Western United States in the sixteen to seventeen year old class at Bandimere Speedway in Denver, Colorado at the Castrol GTX Western Conference Finals in 2002.
In his seven seasons of racing a Super Comp Dragster, Bobby won his first Super Comp race in only his third attempt. He has recorded two top ten finishes in the Southern California Super Comp Association, and top fifteen of over two hundred competitors in 2005 and 2006, and an impressive top 5 finish in 2007 in the Division 7 Lucas Oil Sportsman Drag Racing Series.
In 2006 Bobby earned his license in Top Alcohol Dragster, and ran a limited schedule of Division 7 and National events.
In 2008 Bobby returned to Top Alcohol Dragster, driving for Steve and Patti Federlin in their Impatience Racing Top Alcohol Dragster and picked up right where he left off with a semi-final finish in just his second race back.
In 2009 Bobby decided to step up in the association ranks. Moving from Super Comp to Super Eliminator, during his rookie Super Eliminator season, Bobby swept the competition with 3 wins on the season, and won the points championship.
Bobby has won nineteen of twenty four final rounds, and has recorded sixteen perfect reaction times.
Bobby also worked as a crew member on the Menards/MTS Top Fuel Dragster during the 2005 season, gaining very valuable mechanical and driving information from Veteran Top Fuel Crew Chief Jimmy Walsh.
